Santa Monica fire fighters under a red trap from the Engine Company 5 (station 5) and Truck 1 (station 1) attempt to turn off the water after a car back into a fire hydrant on the corner of Ocean Park and 28th street on Tuesday, Nov. 13 2012 in Santa Monica, Calif. The water was spraying over 30 feet high. The fire fighters said, this is the second broken fire hydrant in the area in the last 24 hours.
I posted about the Sophie (2.5) & Ryan (3) visit to the farm; the following day I visited the Cousins at the Pool. Swimming with young ones is rather fun. Ryan was all about jumping into the water. He was like a CD on repeat. He would jump in, get out, jump in, get out, jump in over and over. It was a tough task keeping him out of the pool.
If you are in the Los Angeles area and would like candid photos of your child(ren), please e-mail me at myanowphotographs@gmail.com and we can schedule a time.
I submitted two photographs for the Of Water: Photography Exhibit at Santa Monica College. Both of my prints made it into the show. In case you are unable to see the exhibit in the flesh here are my two submissions.
