On a gorgeous, early Sunday afternoon, I met Evan in the parking lot of the LA Zoo for a portrait shoot. I arrived early to scout locations nearby. I located my first shooting position and setup, but in the thirty minutes of waiting for Evan to finish his workout, cars started to take over the space. Throughout the hour, we relocated three times thanks to the constant stream of cars and visitors marching like penguins towards the entrance. If you plan to use the LA Zoo parking lot for a photo shoot, best to finish before 11:00 a.m.
The photos below used a 580 EXII Canon Speedlite and PocketWizards slaves to trigger the flash.
