The Los Angles Fire Department was called to 12315 W. Gorham Ave. in Brentwood, California at 3:37 a.m. for a structure fire at a townhouse construction site.  155 firefighters battled the blaze for 95 minutes. In addition to the townhouses, neighboring apartments and cars were damaged by the fire.  No injuries were reported.  Displaced residents are being bussed to Barrington Recreation Center.

I woke up to sirens in my neighborhood around 3:00 a.m.  Unable to fall back asleep, I searched twitter for the cause of the sirens.  I finally stumbled on @LAFD which mentioned the fire.  Quickly, I got dressed and rushed out the door with my camera.  By the time I arrived on the scene the fire was knockdown and firefighters were packing up.
