Palisades Dolphins had a comeback of the ages against Crewnshaw in the quarterfinals and earned a spot in the semifinals at the Galen Center on USC’s campus. Their next assignment was number one ranked Woodland Hills Taft. Taft was to much for the Dolphins to overcome. Pali kept it close and had a chance to make a good run in the fourth quarter to make it a two possession game but come not convert enough on the offense end plus Pali could not keep their composure and was whistled for two flagrant fouls and a technical. The referees at best called this game poorly but Pali was not able adjust as well as Taft did to the poor refereeing of the game. Taft defeated Pali 78-59 and moved onto the finals against Westchester for the City Section title.
