In Wednesday’s matchup to help determine second place in the Western League of the City Section, Fairfax traveled to University High School. University coming off a tough lost to 1st place leader Westchester, was looking to bounce back.
The first half of the game was a close game but in the second half University continued there poor shooting while Fairfax started to convert possessions into points. University got down double digits in the third quarter and was not able to cut into the lead. Fairfax took home the 52-41 victory to make their conference record to 6-4 (14-8). Uni recored their three lost in conference and have a mark of 6-3 and an overall record of 21-7.
