My friend Elliot Stiengart promotes and MCs Melgard Mondays once a month at Melgard Public House on Melrose and Garnder in West Hollywood. He brings in top comedians from the area to give a free performance. I made my way to Melgard Mondays for the first time this past Monday. The comedians make you laugh throughout the one and half hour show and if you are lucky enough you just might become the audience member of the night. Elliot recognizes one member of the crowd with the honor, past winner include NHL hockey star, Jarome Iginla.
If you find yourself with no plans on a Monday make your way over the Melgard Public House. If you do have plans cancel them for better ones at Melgard. For more information visit their site.

Being the holiday spirit its no better time to post a few Halloween photos taken the famous West Hollywood Costume Carnaval! I started with four friends on Doheny & Santa Monica Blvd and walked east on Santa Monica till we reached La Cienega Blvd. The half mile took well over an hour to walk because of all the people and my friend dressed as Luke Walton was stopped more often than anyone else for photos. I thought it was the lamest costume it turned out to be a very popular one. Opps!

My friend Wendy is the clown on the left. She tapped my shoulder and scarred the crap out of me plus it took me several minutes to really know who’s behind all the makeup. All something to laugh about now!
